  • ย ย  ย Ensure that the QMS confirms to ISO 9001:2015
  • ย ย  ย Ensure processes are delivering intended outcomes
  • ย ย  ย Report to Top Management on the performance of the QMS; on opportunities for improvement; on change requirements; on innovations
  • ย ย  ย Ensure the promotion of customer focus
  • ย ย  ย Ensure the integrity of the QMS is maintained

Roles & Responsibilities
ย ย  ย Responsible for the design, development, and documentation of low to medium voltage switchgear and power distribution systems
ย ย  ย Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, customer requirements, and MCM quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
ย ย  ย Design and develop electrical switchgear systems including - general requirements, elevation and plan views, one-line diagrams, schematics, and control circuits.
ย ย  ย Select and specify electrical components such as breakers, relays, CTs, PTs, bus bars, and protective devices.
ย ย  ย Create and revise engineering drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, E-Plan).
ย ย  ย Ensure designs comply with relevant standards (e.g., IEC, ANSI, UL, IEEE).
ย ย  ย Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical designers, project managers, and manufacturing teams.
ย ย  ย Review and interpret customer specifications and provide technical input during submittal, production, and post-shipment phases.
ย ย  ย Maintain project documentation and provide timely updates to project stakeholders.
Work Environment:
ย ย  ย Self-directed, able to work autonomously or with limited direct supervision, receives general instructions on new assignments.
ย ย  ย Typical work week - 40 hrs.
ย ย  ย This is an on-site position unless approval is given by management based on a major life changeย 
ย ย  ย Willingness to work 10% overtime as needed.
ย ย  ย Travel is not required for this position.

ย ย  ย A Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, or an Electrical Emphasis of a more General Engineering degree
ย ย  ย A technical degree or certificate with a minimum of three years' relevant experience
ย ย  ย 3+ years of experience in switchgear or power distribution equipment design.
ย ย  ย Experience with AutoCAD, E-Plan, and Microsoft software
ย ย  ย Familiarity with low and medium voltage systems (up to 38kV).
ย ย  ย Strong understanding of electrical protection and control systems.
ย ย  ย Knowledge of relevant electrical standards (IEC, IEEE, UL, NEMA, etc.).
ย ย  ย Hands-on experience in manufacturing or field service of switchgear.
