  • Test Strategy & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with ACT English question types, common grammar traps (comma splices, fragments, wordiness), and passage difficulty progression. Adapts instruction using grammar drills, rhetorical analysis practice, and edited passages to build recognition speed. Requires minimum ACT English score of 31 and experience improving language arts subscores efficiently.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
