Mid-Level Contracts Management Analyst – RAM/CIWS
Contingent upon Customer Approval
Purpose:
  • Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for Mid-Level Contracts Management Analyst – RAM/CIWS to support Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) and/or Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) programs.
  • This role is in Arlington, VA.
  • The selected candidates will provide contract and program management analysis supporting Navy weapon system requirements and program execution.
Job Description:
  • Provide contract and program management analysis in support of RAM and/or CIWS program requirements.
  • Support the planning, coordination, tracking, and execution of program and contractual activities.
  • Review contract documentation, modifications, deliverables, schedules, funding information, and other program documentation.
  • Track contractual actions and program requirements to ensure activities remain aligned with established schedules and customer objectives.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of program documentation, reports, briefings, correspondence, and status updates.
  • Coordinate with program management, contracts, financial management, engineering, logistics, and other functional organizations.
  • Monitor program actions, milestones, deliverables, and schedules and identify potential issues or risks requiring management attention.
  • Support meetings, program reviews, working groups, and other customer activities and track resulting action items through completion.
  • Analyze program information and provide recommendations to support informed decision making.
  • Maintain accurate program and contract records and assist with data calls and reporting requirements.
  • Interface with government, contractor, and other program stakeholders as required.
Qualifications:
  • Must have at least 4 years of relevant experience in contracts management, program management, acquisition support, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Must have experience supporting complex programs and working with multiple functional stakeholders.
  • Must possess strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must have valid US Driver's License.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Contract Management, Acquisition Management, or a related field, preferred.
  • Experience supporting Navy or Department of Defense acquisition programs, preferred.
  • Experience supporting RAM, CIWS, or other Navy weapon system programs, preferred.
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition and government contracting processes, preferred.
Security Requirements:
  • Must have an Active Secret Security clearance and the ability to maintain it.
Travel Requirements:
  • Minimal travel-less than 10%
  • If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.
