Job description

Overview
Lupin is comprised of a fast growing, innovative and robust team of manufacturing, Research and Development and commercial divisions. Together these entities make up the generic and branded U.S. business. Lupin has a significant generic pipeline, and a branded focus on women's health. Our first Research and Development facility in the US is located in Coral Springs, Florida which focuses on generic and branded orally inhaled and nasal drug products. Somerset, New Jersey is home to one of twelve commercial manufacturing sites globally and the only commercial manufacturing facility in the United States for Lupin, as well as additional Research and Development teams. Responsibilities
The Systems Engineer is responsible for managing day-to-day end user support for users as well as Servers (on-prem/cloud), networking, telecommunications & cyber security tools in the Lupin Pharmaceuticals North American sites, including Data Centers, Cloud, Network, Communication link services.
The responsibilities may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills and other characteristics.
  • Respond, manage, and escalate (as needed) technical support requests via the ticketing system, telephone calls, and emails. either directly or using remote support tools
  • Responsible for supporting Business user end point devices (Laptops/desktops/Smart phones/Tables/IPADs/video conferencing services) either directly or using remote support tools on as-needed basis.
  • Ensure compliance of site-specific IT SOPs
  • Manage and maintain analytical laboratory and computerized manufacturing control systems in a GMP environment according to established regulatory requirements.
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts such as Routing, Switching, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP and DNS.
  • Responsible for managing Server, Network and Telecom Infrastructure in Lupin USA & Canada.
  • Work on Security tools, technologies & platforms like Zscaler, Zero Trust, Privileged access management.
  • Hands-on experience with Firewall, Routers, Switches, Wi-Fi devices (L2/L3 level), Windows Server operating systems, Virtualization Hypervisors like VMWare.
  • As part of a team, works to maintain Juniper network infrastructure, including all configuration and maintenance; Owns responsibility for multi-site Aruba WiFi infrastructure.
  • Has working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams rooms (conferencing systems)
  • Oversee and ensure timely repair/replacement of faulty hardware including endpoint devices, network hardware and appliances.
  • Maintain hardware inventories of endpoint devices, servers, and network equipment.

Operations
  • Handle day to day end user support tickets. Provides white-glove IT support to VIP users.
  • Work with central IT teams to resolve issues involving centrally managed IT platforms.
  • Owns end-to-end responsibility for resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor Server and Network Infrastructure. Perform corrective actions on observed events.
  • Provides updates on Infrastructure health and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Maintains an up-to-date inventory of endpoint devices, server, and Network devices.

Qualifications
Education Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (IT) or similar Desired Certifications.
Certifications (preferred) - Current JNCIE-ENT, JNCIE, or CCIE certification/ CCNP, CEH, CISSP, MCSA etc.
Experience Required:
  • Knowledgeable of Cisco, Juniper, Aruba Technologies & Architectures (examples- Cloud & Cloud Security, Networking- Network Segmentation, Patching, Next-Gen AV, Avaya VOIP, Teams based Conferencing systems)
  • Experience managing and maintaining servers, LAN, IP Phone and WAN systems; Switches/ Routers/ Access Points, VPNs; Knowledge of IT-OT Network Segregation.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in above mentioned technologies.
