Job description

Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and technically skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-demand, on-site
 IT support for enterprise clients. This role involves responding to service requests when required and providing hands-on technical assistance for desktop systems, laptops, network connectivity, and peripheral devices at the client location.
This is a contract-based, on-demand position, meaning work assignments will be provided as and when support is required. Availability and responsiveness are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
● Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
● Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
● Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
● Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
● Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
● Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
● Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
● Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
Required Skills
● Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments
● Experience in hardware troubleshooting and replacement
● Basic understanding of networking (LAN connectivity, switches, routers)
● Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues
● Good communication and customer service skills
● Ability to work independently in onsite support environments

Engineers must carry the following tools while attending onsite support requests:
