Job Title: Shipping ClerkJob Description

This role supports a high-volume manufacturing operation by accurately picking, counting, packaging, and shipping small metal pins, bolts, and related components according to customer orders. You ensure that each order is complete, correctly labeled, and prepared for daily shipment while maintaining strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Pick parts based on customer orders, ensuring accurate item selection and quantities.
  • Count and pack small pins, bolts, and other metal products into kits according to order specifications.
  • Prepare shipping kits by organizing and packaging metal products securely to prevent damage in transit.
  • Label and scan products in the shipping area to support daily shipments and maintain accurate tracking.
  • Use an RF scanner to record inventory movements and update system records accurately.
  • Print and apply shipping labels, ensuring correct information and placement on packages.
  • Perform data entry related to shipping, receiving, and inventory control to keep records current and accurate.
  • Support shipping, receiving, and packing activities as needed to meet production and shipping schedules.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working in a production manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to dress and safety requirements at all times.
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production and shipping operations.
Essential Skills
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing with the same company performing production-related work.
  • Hands-on experience with picking, shipping, and receiving in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in packing and packaging small components with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail when counting, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment.
  • Ability to use an RF scanner for inventory control and product tracking.
  • Experience with inventory control processes and maintaining accurate stock records.
  • Basic data entry skills for updating shipping and inventory information.
  • Ability to print and manage shipping labels accurately.
  • Capability to work scheduled hours Monday through Friday, typically 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the ability to start at 6:30 a.m. when required.

Safety and dress requirements include no baggy clothing, mandatory steel-toe or composite-toe footwear, hair pulled back, and no jewelry allowed. Attendance expectations are high, and consistent presence is essential to support ongoing production and shipping operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
