Job description

Job Title: Project Manager (Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings)

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana (Hybrid role must be in range of Lebanon, IN)

Salary: $125,000 โ€“ $165,000


Day to Day

A leading construction contractor specializing in pre-engineered steel buildings is seeking an experienced Data Center Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major mission-critical data center project in Lebanon, Indiana.


You will take ownership of the project from start to finish, managing budgets, schedules, contracts, subcontractors, vendors, and change orders while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Working closely with superintendents, engineers, and field teams, you will coordinate project execution, oversee cost tracking and reporting, lead client meetings, and manage project closeout and handover.


Requirements

  • Previous Data Center construction experience
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager
  • Experience with Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) or structural steel construction
  • Strong General Contractor (GC) project management experience
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships
  • Background delivering mission-critical, industrial, warehouse, or large-scale steel building projects
  • Experience with turnkey/design-build projects is highly desirable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Outlook, Word, and Smartsheet (SAGE 300 preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license
  • OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
