Job description

As the leader of our Data and Analytics team, you will guide a talented group of analysts and engineers in designing and scaling solutions that drive informed decision-making across the organization. You will set technical directions for modern analytics practices: modernizing our platform through Microsoft Fabric, reducing technical debt, and establishing consistent reporting standards that scale with the needs of the business. While you will lead with strategic influence, you will also partner closely with Business Unit leaders, technical teams, and global partners to embed analytics into the organization's most important initiatives.

You will balance direct contribution to BI and analytics development with the responsibilities of building and growing a high-performing team. You will mentor and develop talent, manage service requests alongside proactive modernization efforts, and translate complex business questions into technical solutions. Success in this role will require strong technical fundamentals, the ability to lead and develop people, and a forward-thinking approach to shaping the infrastructure, culture, and capabilities of analytics within Comfort Medical.

Major Areas of Accountability

Team Leadership, Development & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage a team of Data Analysts and Engineers
  • Hire, develop, and mentor analytics talent toward emerging leadership roles

  • Partner with Business Unit leaders and technical teams to communicate strategy, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions

Technical Leadership & Platform Strategy

  • Lead modernization of the analytics platform, including migration toward Microsoft Fabric-based data engineering
  • Reduce technical debt and drive adoption of best practices for data modeling and pipeline development
  • Own the analytics technology stack roadmap in coordination with IT and Platform Enablement
  • Establish and maintain data security, compliance, and governance practices aligned with HIPAA and healthcare regulations

Analytics Delivery & Execution

  • Drive end-to-end analytics outcomes through both leadership and hands-on contribution, including designing scalable data models, building impactful dashboards, and developing analytical solutions for complex business problems
  • Lead analytics workstreams for cross-functional projects, translating requirements into technical solutions
  • Design and maintain enterprise data models, reports, and BI dashboards

Process Automation

  • Identify, develop, and maintain process automation solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps to improve team efficiency and support operational initiatives
  • Manage project scope, timelines, and feasibility for automation initiatives
