Summary

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical system projects throughout the Seattle market. This leadership role is ideal for a highly organized professional who can drive full-cycle project execution, foster strong client relationships, and mentor internal teams—all while delivering top-tier results and contributing to the company’s continued growth.


Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution

  • Lead planning, coordination, and execution of HVAC and mechanical projects from concept through closeout.

  • Oversee estimating, procurement, labor forecasting, and installation sequencing.

  • Manage contract administration, including terms, change orders, and compliance tracking.

  • Prepare and review project documentation—proposals, RFIs, contracts, and correspondence.

  • Forecast labor/material needs and monitor project budgets to maintain cost efficiency and quality.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships.

  • Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and progress reviews.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, vendors, and subcontractors to promote collaboration and project success.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Facilitate preconstruction meetings with department leaders to align on scope and milestones.

  • Serve as the central liaison between Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Field Operations, and Service.

  • Mentor junior project team members, supporting their development and success.

Financial Oversight & Strategic Growth

  • Track project financials including costs, billing, and cash flow with support from accounting.

  • Identify cost-saving strategies and drive process improvement across project management functions.

  • Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to support company growth in the Seattle market.

  • Participate in internal innovation initiatives and process improvement teams.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years managing mechanical construction projects, ranging from $100K to $25M+.

  • Proven success in cost estimating, budget management, and project forecasting.

  • Background in developing and maintaining business relationships with clients and partners.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team management abilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management tools.
