About the Job

CFM Enterprises of Monroe, LA is a national service provider for voice and data communications. Our services include move-add-changes, equipment rollouts, structured cabling (copper and fiber), new office and plant installation, etc. This job is a full time (non-contractor) position. The majority of CFM technicians are stationed out of their homes and are equipped with a company vehicle and the tools needed to complete any assigned work. We are looking for hard working individuals that require little or no supervision. Experience is a plus, but not necessary. CFM provides training for all new employees, regardless of experience, which enables us to provide the very best customer service available.
Responsibilities:

· Label, pull and terminate cable

· Load and install workstations, laptops and peripherals

· Install data equipment including routers, network switches, etc.

· Test all installed cable using appropriate testing equipment

· Maintain a professional appearance

· Ability to lift up to 60 lbs

· Ability to climb ladders

Requirements:

· Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with customer and co-workers

· Basic understanding of network cable installation a plus

· Ability to work in confined spaces.

· Must be able to operate most electrical tools

· State License not required, but a plus

· Ability to pass a drug screen, background check and reference check.

· Valid driver license. Also, employees must obey state and local traffic laws as a requirement for employment and continued employment.

· This position will require travel and overnight stays

Our services include installing new and existing voice and data infrastructure for companies across the United States. We are looking for technicians who would be willing to be trained to our methods and practices that are self motivated and require little or no supervision. This is NOT a sub contractor position or a temporary contract.
