The Opportunity

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a key executive leader responsible for translating strategy into action and ensuring coordinated execution across Park Heights Renaissance’s initiatives.

This role leads implementation across three core portfolios:

  • Economic Wealth
  • Human & Community Development
  • Capital Projects

The COO will build and manage an ecosystem of aligned partners, programs, and investments—ensuring resources are deployed effectively and community outcomes are achieved at scale.


What You’ll Do:

Operational Leadership & Execution

  • Lead day-to-day operations across the organization
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable operational plans
  • Drive accountability, performance, and execution discipline

Organizational Infrastructure & Systems

  • Build scalable systems, workflows, and operational processes
  • Ensure efficiency across administrative and support functions
  • Oversee tools and systems that support execution and tracking

Process Optimization & Performance

  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Standardize best practices across teams
  • Monitor and enhance organizational performance metrics

Vendor & Partnership Management

  • Oversee vendor selection, procurement, and contracts
  • Manage relationships with consultants and service providers

Financial & Resource Alignment

  • Partner with Finance to align operations with budget and strategy
  • Ensure efficient and effective use of organizational resources

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements
  • Support audit readiness and internal controls

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop high-performing, cross-functional teams
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

What You Bring:


Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations or organizational leadership
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive execution
  • Experience building and scaling systems, processes, and infrastructure
  • Strong leadership experience in complex, mission-driven environments

Preferred

  • Master’s degree (MBA, MPA, or related field)
  • Experience in nonprofit, public sector, or community-based organizations
  • Experience with collective impact or place-based initiatives
  • Experience working closely with executive leadership and boards
