Job description

Job Title: CNC Service Technician

Location: South Charlotte, NC
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Work Schedule: 1st shift; Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm

Pay: $45,000-$50,000/year, depending on your level of experience!

**Overtime as needed**

Candidates with a Repair/ Maintenance background is encouraged to apply!

Summary:
The Mechanical Technician/Assembler is a position of the service team that utilizes technical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform reliable routine maintenance, repairs, and service on our products through customer Work Orders (WO) requests. 


Qualifications for a Mechanical Technician/Assembler:

  • Team Player
  • Hard Worker/ Self Motivated
  • Acceptable to Training
  • Detail Oriented
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Auto Mechanical background
  • Blueprint reading
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Ability to perform maintenance, repairs, general assembly and service on CNC Machine parts

Job Requirements as a Mechanical Technician/Assembler:

  • Organizes daily work by reviewing requirements of a work order, checking for, and gathering needed
  • Responsible for assembly and maintaining CNC parts by reading blueprints and troubleshooting issues
  • Assists Senior Service technician by obtaining drawings
  • Assesses wear and tear and damage of tools arriving for service to determine if routine replacement part maintenance or a repair is required
  • Analyzes drawings/schematics for special considerations/instructions before a tear down
  • Performs tooling tear down and rebuild
  • Assists with cleaning spare parts before rebuild
  • Keeps tools presentable by buffing exterior, removing debris, and lubricating as needed

 

**100% of the work is spend on a work bench performing the repairs**

In a Climate Controlled/ Clean Facility!

Previous CNC Machining experience is a PLUS!
