POSITION SUMMARY

Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking a Contracts Analyst to support Marketing Contracts & Compliance, with aprimaryfocus onDirect DealerContracts.This role manages the marketing contract lifecycle, including contract initiation, drafting, execution, transfers, and renewals. The Contracts Analyst reviews agreements for accuracy, legal compliance, and policy alignment to supporttimelycompletion. The role also partnerswith Legal, Credit, and Marketing teams to streamline contract review, execution, and distribution;maintaincentralizedcontractrecords; supportaudits and reporting.This position belongs to a family of jobs with increasing responsibility, competency, and skill level. Actual position title and pay grade will be based on the selected candidate's experience and qualifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviewscontracts for accuracy,compliance, and alignmentwith organizational standards;escalatesitems requiringlegal review and engages stakeholders asappropriate

  • Evaluatesand mitigates risksassociated withcontract terms and conditions

  • Recommendscontractrevisionsto align withlegalrequirementsand businessobjectives

  • Managesthe contract lifecycle, includinginitiation,drafting,execution,and renewal.

  • Reviews,drafts,and fulfillsDirect Dealer Financingrequests

  • Maintainsan accurate,centralized repositoryfor contract records anddocumentation

  • Trackscontractual obligations,deadlines, monthlyreporting, and adherence requirements

  • Sharescontract-related informationwithinternal and external stakeholdersandpromotescross-functional alignment

  • Supports contract audit activities and contributes tobest practicesin contract management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degreerequired

  • Four (4)years experiencerequired.

  • Experience in contract development or management, with understanding of contracting processes

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Paralegal experience a preferred
