Job description

Premier Creative Group is seeking a Repair amp; Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for developing and testing solutions to solve technical problems with video, led, audio, scenic, lighting, and rigging equipment. The Engineer will perform duties to diagnose, repair, and test the operation of any range of consumer, professional, or broadcast level equipment to keep them within the limits of standard or acceptable practice.
Responsibilities Include -
  • Maintain and repair audio, video, led, scenic, lighting, and rigging equipment and other types of A/V equipment as is held in inventory or at the request of clients.
  • Work from service tags, manuals, maintenance logs, schematics, computer software, and other similar documentation.
  • Diagnose operating problems, determine causes and extent of repairs required. Determine costs for replacement components or for outside repair where schedules and backlogs dictate.
  • Submit for authorization and prepare purchase worksheets for acquisition of required parts or outside parts and labor.
  • Research maintenance history of items to determine trends in failure or other related data necessary for tracking cost of repairs.
  • Document type and extent of problems, status of maintenance, and labor time.
  • Prepare warranty claims for services performed in keeping within warranty repair contract requirements.
  • Prepare service estimates for units belonging to clients.
  • Communicate with field technicians and customers to assist with the diagnosis of the type and extent of problems with assets in the field. Make suggestions as to the adjustment of setups, alignments, or other operating modifications.
Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in electronics or ample certifications preferred.
  • 2-4 yearsโ€™ experience in fixing A/V related equipment.
  • Ability to get a Forklift License.
  • Experience with WMS/IMS amp; Office 365.
  • Ability to commute to and from designated work location to meet work schedules.
