Job description

Fisher Jr./Sr. High School is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Boys Physical Education Teacher for the 202627 school year, with the potential opportunity to serve as the Jr. High Athletic Director as well.

PE/Health Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and deliver engaging physical education and health lessons aligned with state standards and district goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and academic progress.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and program expectations.
  • Supervise boys locker room

Jr. High Athletic Director responsibilities include:

  • The Athletic Director provides leadership, supervision, scheduling, coordination, and administration of the Jr. High athletic programs.

Qualifications

Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Physical Education and Health Endorsements


Salary/Benefits

  • Salary is regionally competitive and determined by the BOE approved teachers' contract, with additional Jr. High A.D. stipends
