POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Project Manager (PM) is responsible for all phases involved in the design, build and/or development of custom turnkey automation projects in markets including Automotive/Transportation, Healthcare/Medical, Consumer Goods, Electronics, Energy and Food amp; Beverage. A Senior Project Manager ensures projects are managed effectively and align with the broader objectives of the business from receipt of purchase order through installation, commissioning and final installation and customer acceptance of the equipment. The PM’s primary objectives are to manage project scope and scope changes, performance to schedule and budget as defined by customer contracts and Calvary policies and procedures. They will have the ability to manage a minimum annual portfolio size of $7M independently
ESSENTIAL DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Working closely with diverse, multi-disciplined, cross functional teams, the PM will initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control and closeout projects.
  • Serves as the lead customer contact, regularly communicating throughout all phases of the project.
  • Collects, analyzes, and monitors projects and data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and implement improvements to processes, workflows, or methods.
  • Facilitates communication and collaboration between various departments including design, procurement, and quality to ensure actions and goals are aligned.
  • Coordinates vendors and suppliers to support project activities and ensures cost, quality, and availability meet customer specifications.
  • Responsible for execution of projects on schedule, at or below budget, delivering the contracted scope of work to all applicable codes and standards.
  • Key customer contact for assigned projects ensuring all key project events and issues is documented.
  • Manage risk assessment, identification and implement risk mitigation plans. Conduct Project kick-off and manage resources.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Knowledge, amp; Skills)
Successful candidates will have excellent communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to collaborate effectively in a technical matrix project-based organization.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks that jeopardize project scope, schedule, cost, amp; customer satisfaction
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., project management, engineering) from an accredited university is preferred
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, software, tools and techniques; Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desired
  • 10+ years of experience managing multiple projects portfolio up to $7M
  • 10+ years of experience in an electro-mechanical, custom design-build environment
COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $130,000 – $175,000 annually
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $175,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, education, etc.
Bonus Eligibility: This position is eligible for participation in the Company's Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), subject to plan terms.
