Certifications: OnBase Certified System Administrator certification, or OnBase Certified Installer designation, or OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator certification, or OnBase Certified Workflow Engineer certification must be attached to bid at time of submission.
The State of Wisconsin DOC is looking for 1 OnBase Administrator/Developer III
*6 month contract
The Wisconsin Department of Corrections is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated OnBase Administrator III to manage, maintain, and optimize our enterprise content solutions system. You will be one of four primary point-of-contacts for system administration, workflow design, and user support, ensuring our document management operations run securely and efficiently.
Top Required Skills & Years of Experience:
• Experience: Must have a minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience in Hyland OnBase administration, configuration, engineering, system tasks, custom queries, Advanced Capture and forms development.
• Certifications: OnBase Certified System Administrator certification or OnBase Certified Installer designation, and OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator certification or OnBase Certified Workflow Engineer certification is required.
• Technical Skills: Must have proficiency in OnBase Configuration, Studio, Unity Management Console, and API development (RESTful, SOAP). Ability to provide on-going OnBase technical support, including daily incident, change management, and system administration responsibilities required. Strong in writing custom queries in Oracle and SQL Server. Must have experience in performing OnBase system upgrades.
• Soft Skills: Must be a self-starter and consistently portray a sense of urgency and have excellent, written and oral communication skills. Must have a high drive to excel and be able to work independently in a versatile environment.
Nice to have - OnBase WorkView Certification and OnBase Certified Application Programming Interface certification is desired. Familiarity with VBScript, PowerShell, C#.NET, SQL, REST API and HTML is a plus.

Interview Process: All first-round interviews are generally conducted via TEAMS meeting but we reserve the right to ask for an in-person second interview if desired. There could be a third round of interview depending on the number of candidates. If the candidate shows distraction or reading from a media source during the interview, the interview will be stopped and not rescheduled. Candidates should check headphones, mics, connections, etc. prior to the interview session.
Duration of the Contract: 6/30/2027.
Onsite or Remote? Remote. Candidates must reside in the State of Wisconsin or relocate at their own expense within 30-60 days of hire. Candidate works remotely but may be called into the office at any time for special business meetings or at the request of their DOC supervisor.
The DOC recognizes the importance of a work-life-balance and requires contractors to take time off outside of nine State holidays. This time amounts to approximately 2 weeks each fiscal year and is unpaid by DOC.
