Job description

MBA Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Administration Clerk to support our government customer, the United States Postal Service (USPS), in Greensboro, NC. This role is essential in preparing, reviewing, and verifying lease agreements and associated documents to ensure the accuracy and completeness of contract packages for USPS-leased facilities.

 As part of a team that supports one of the largest federal landlords in the U.S., you will play a critical role in helping Lease Administrators manage the renewal and negotiation process for over 30,000 leased USPS properties nationwide. Your contributions will support efficient lease administration and ensure compliance with contract requirements.

 This position is based on site at the USPS facility in Greensboro, NC. After a minimum six-month probationary period, and with customer approval, you may be eligible to telework from home one day per week.

 Ideal candidates will have experience in contract or lease administration, a high level of accuracy, and a strong commitment to supporting federal operations. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the public sector while working in a collaborative and structured environment.

Responsibilities

  •  Responsible for preparation and verification of commercial contracts and associated paperwork to prepare a complete contract package.
  • Maintain and retrieve contract documents as needed
  • Review submitted documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal/state regulations and company policies.
  • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
  • Works under immediate supervision and reports to a supervisor or manager

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  •  High School Diploma
  • 3-5 years of support experience in the field (commercial leasing or real estate) or in a related area
  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours when needed. Little to no travel required
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check & drug test
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

  • Associate or bachelor's degree
