Role Summary
This leadership role oversees the organization''s continuous improvement, quality management, and operational excellence initiatives across manufacturing operations. The position involves partnering with various departments to develop strategies that enhance product quality, boost manufacturing efficiency, and promote a culture of ongoing improvement. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in manufacturing, process optimization, and lean methodologies who can drive transformational change within complex operational environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the organizationโ€™s strategic plan for continuous improvement aligned with business goals.
  • Lead enterprise-wide initiatives targeting quality enhancement, process efficiency, productivity increases, and cost reductions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through leadership, coaching, and employee engagement activities.
  • Drive and sustain operational excellence programs across multiple manufacturing facilities.
  • Improve product quality, reduce variation, and strengthen process capabilities by analyzing operational metrics such as yield, waste, scrap, rework, throughput, and OEE.
  • Partner with Quality and Operations leadership to implement corrective and preventive actions that support customer satisfaction and quality standards.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and related methodologies through facilitating cross-functional improvement projects.
  • Establish key performance indicator measurement systems to track operational and quality improvements.
  • Advise plant leadership on efficiency, quality, and process improvement opportunities, providing strategic insights.
  • Build organizational capability via training, coaching, change management, and leadership development programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Quality Engineering, Business, or a related field; Masterโ€™s Degree preferred.
  • Over 10 years of manufacturing, operational excellence, quality, or continuous improvement experience.
  • At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience overseeing enterprise-wide improvement initiatives.
  • Proven success leading Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence transformations.
  • Experience directing cross-functional teams in complex manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated record of achieving measurable improvements in quality, productivity, cost reduction, and operational performance.
  • Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and ASQ CQE or CMQ/OE are preferred.

Publishing Pay Range: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
