The Process Improvement Engineer will have overall responsibility of driving improvements at the making, packing, and picking operations, across organization, materials, processes, and equipment at Melaleuca facilities.  The focus is identifying the largest operational opportunities, and effectively putting plans/teams in place.  This position will leverage extensively Operational Excellence tools to drive tangible SQOCE results.


  • Identify critical opportunities within assigned scope of work
  • Manage improvement project and activities, from conception through conclusion
  • Align with organization the objectives and resources needed to drive the improvement plan
  • Establish specific success criteria, timelines, actions, and metrics for the improvement plan
  • Lead cross functional teams to implement solutions using Problem Solving techniques
  • Develop necessary training to increase capability/skills in each operational team
  • Track and Measure results from projects
  • Implement Standard Work Processes to sustain the results
  • Work with other facilities worldwide to share and reapply ideas and increase technical efficiency
  • Reports directly to Site Operations Leader or Site Engineering Leader, dotted to Continuous Improvement Director
  • Partners directly with Operations Department Leaders, with Engineering Leaders, and with Maintenance group
  • Partners indirectly with Finance (cost accounting), Operations Analitics, Technical Services, Quality, and R&D

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of previous experience
  • Ability to work with others on a team
