Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Logistic Process Improvement Associate who is eager to learn and grow while supporting the analysis, improvement, and standardization of logistics processes. This role is designed for university students or recent graduates with strong analytical skills, curiosity, and a proactive mindset who are interested in gaining hands-on experience within a dynamic logistics environment. Although this is an internship position, the Associate will contribute from day one by supporting data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement initiatives, and problem-solving activities. The role offers practical exposure to real operational challenges and structured learning through active involvement in process improvement projects. This position reports to the Global Sourcing Manager, Logistics, and works closely with the Logistics Process Improvement Specialist for mentorship and daily collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
  • Actively supporting logistics process improvement projects by identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
  • Analyze operational data related to inventory, material flows, cycle times, costs, and KPIs to generate insights and improvement proposals.
  • Search, collect, validate, and organize data and information from multiple sources.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, and documentation using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Document current-state and future-state processes (AS-IS / TO-BE); experience with Visio is preferred.
  • Support data visualization and analysis using Power BI (plus).
  • Track tasks, action items, and projects using Microsoft Planner and Outlook.
  • Organize and manage documentation in SharePoint.
  • Propose practical, efficiency-driven solutions focused on quality, standardization, and continuous improvement.
  • Work proactively and autonomously, anticipating needs without requiring constant supervision.
  • Collaborate closely with the Logistic Process Improvement Specialist on strategic logistics initiatives.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures, reporting unsafe activities as required.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable warehouse safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve goals and contribute to a positive team spirit.
  • Protect confidential information and maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity.

Requirements
  • Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to translate information into actionable insights.
  • Ability to conduct structured and effective information research.
  • Critical thinking and analytical mindset.
  • Proactive, curious, continuous-improvement-oriented profile.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Preferred: Power BI, Visio, Microsoft Planner, SharePoint, and basic knowledge of Lean principles or logistics processes.
