  • Learn to push cross rods through grating to make assembled panels or other products.
  • Learn the various coating, painting, and grit application procedures.
  • Learn to identify and set up the proper jigs to assemble panels.
  • Learn to topcoat the assembled panels and add grit.
  • Learn to place assembled panels in a squaring rack using the proper irons and overhead crane.
  • Learn data collection to assist in quality control, scrap identification or any other continuous improvement project.
  • Assist in taking inventories when needed.
  • Assist in all housekeeping activities in the Assembly Department and keep immediate work area clean.
  • Work overtime as business needs require.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and directed.
