Reporting to the Lead, Integrated Operations Program Management, you will be responsible for developing and implementing several strategic and transformational initiatives for our Windfall Project, currently in the pre-construction phase. The objective is to ensure operational alignment across structures, business processes, people, corporate culture, and the integrated operating model. Will work at the Montreal office on a 5-2 schedule, with occasional visits to the Windfall site.


Tasks & Responsabilities

Designing initiatives aligned with the integrated operations vision, modern mining, and operational efficiency;
Designing, coordinating, and supporting the digital and business transformation program;
Developing business plans, studies, and analyses, and issuing recommendations related to Gold Fields' operational strategy;
Articulating and developing strategic programs such as "Connected Worker," "Mine-to-Mill," "Operate-for-Reliability," "Maintain-for-Reliability," and business continuity initiatives;
Developing management functions and business frameworks in collaboration with partners, stakeholders, and suppliers.

This role will require interaction with numerous stakeholders to define the project's integrated operating strategies. As such, you will be expected to:
Work with international experts to adopt best practices used across Gold Fields;
Collaborate with the global asset optimization team to ensure the adoption of continuous improvement best practices;
Work with operations, maintenance, technology, operational readiness, and administrative functions;
Work with consultants, original equipment manufacturers, and suppliers.


Required skills

University degree in a relevant field; a Master of Business Administration is considered a strong asset;
More than 15 years of experience in the mining industry, business administration, and/or project management;
Significant experience in change management, continuous improvement, and process definition;
Excellent strategic planning skills;
Bilingual, with the ability to communicate with clients and stakeholders in both French and English;
Project management skills, including scope definition, budget development, and schedule planning;
Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate, guide, and continuously align various teams;
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with different functions and relevant areas;
Good command of technology and IT systems integration.
