What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Workday Talent Acquisition Technology to join our HR Digital Solutions Team. This role blends business analysis, product delivery, and hands-on system configuration, ensuring our talent acquisition platforms meet evolving business needs. The products in the portfolio include Beeline, Phenom, Workday, and other digital products in the talent acquisition space.

You will be responsible for gathering business requirements, managing the enhancement backlog, prioritizing features in collaboration with stakeholders, configuring system updates, testing, and ensuring smooth deployment. As Manager, Talent Acquisition Technology you are also responsible for ongoing support to ensure the optimal performance and the safety and soundness of the talent acquisition products in the portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity to own system enhancements, drive efficiency in recruiting processes, and provide hands-on technical expertise to optimize our talent acquisition technology stack.

What will you do?

Requirements & Analysis:

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Contingent Workforce Management, Recruitment Marketing, HR, and IT stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for system enhancements.

  • Translate business needs into clear, concise functional and technical specifications.

System Implementation, Configuration & Development:

  • Perform hands-on configuration, system updates and automations in Workday and other state-of-the-art recruitment systems to implement enhancements and new functionality.

  • Lead implementation activities including but not limited to data conversion, configurations, legacy decommission plan and go-live cut-over plan.

  • Work closely with vendors and internal partners to manage system settings, workflows, and integrations to ensure smooth functionality.

  • Test and validate system changes before deployment.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of system capabilities and recommend improvements based on best practices.

Backlog & Prioritization:

  • Own and manage the enhancement backlog, ensuring stakeholder needs are captured, prioritized, and aligned with business goals.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Marketing, the larger HR Digital Solutions Team, and IT to evaluate feature requests and determine the best approach for implementation.

Testing & Deployment:

  • Document test plans, test cases, and test results.

  • Lead and execute functional testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing to validate enhancements prior to deployment.

  • Manage deployment activities and ensure seamless rollout of system changes.

  • Provide post-deployment support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal system performance.

Product Delivery & Support:

  • Provide ongoing production support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues, ensuring system reliability and optimal user experience.

  • Act as a primary liaison between business teams, technology partners, and vendors, facilitating root cause analysis and resolution of issues.

  • Develop user guides, and FAQs to assist end users in navigating system updates and enhancements.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve system processes and user experience.

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HR systems and talent acquisition to inform future enhancements.

What do you need to Succeed?

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience as an HRIS lead, HR Business Systems Analyst, ideally within Talent Acquisition technology environments.

  • Experience in system configuration and administration of at least one of the following: Workday, any Vendor Management System.

  • Demonstrated experience in backlog management, feature prioritization, and product delivery.

Education, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition and Contingent Workforce processes and how they are enabled by technology.

  • Strong understanding of workflows and integrations.

  • Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition operations, ideally in contingent worker operations.

  • Proven experience gathering and writing requirements, documenting processes, and executing testing.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.

  • Hands-on experience with testing, deployment, and post-launch support activities.

  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues, coordinate with technology teams, and drive resolution.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analyst or a related field.
