Job Description
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
SG6/7
Seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team in Uvalde, Texas, United States.
  • Perform tire installations, rotations, balancing, and repairs
  • May conduct wheel alignments to ensure optimal vehicle performance and tire longevity
  • Carry out basic automotive maintenance tasks as needed
  • Operate tire changing equipment and balancing machines
  • Assess tire conditions and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and productivity
  • Accurately input data into our computer system
  • Stay updated on the latest tire technologies, safety standards, and industry best practices
  • Perform the loading (adding ballast) of test vehicles
  • Installation of dashcam and logger systems in test vehicles

Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in tire service or automotive repair preferred
  • Proficiency in tire installation, balancing, and repair techniques
  • Experience with wheel alignment procedures
  • Knowledge of various tire types and specifications
  • Ability to operate tire changing equipment and balancing machines safely and effectively
  • Basic automotive maintenance skills
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and retrieval
  • Physical ability to lift heavy tires and equipment, and stand for extended periods
  • Valid driver's license
  • Familiarity with automotive tire technology and safety standards
  • Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.
