Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Product Manager serves as the operational backbone of the Product organization, owning execution across gaming while supporting the broader Cowboy+ product portfolio. This role combines product management, product operations, launch management, vendor coordination, and cross-functional execution to ensure products are delivered successfully and continue to scale.
In this role, you will own core productization across multiple products. Success requires strong product-market judgment, operational excellence, and the ability to sustain a successful product roadmap against company and business goals.
This individual owns operational execution for fantasy gaming, free-to-play games, promotions, app merchandising, release readiness, and content programming. They are responsible for turning strategy into execution while ensuring every game, promotion, and app experience launches on time and performs at a high standard.
This individual will own critical operational functions such as hosting product readiness, QA for new feature launches, plan disaster recovery, create/manage SLA for customer and internal escalation, own JIRA for Product organization and collaborate with the VP, Product to set product roadmap. They will be expected to engage with multiple stakeholders across the business to promote product vision and ensure alignment. This role will report to the VP, Product and Gaming Operations will report into this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Ownership, Gaming
  • Own the design, development, and long-term operationalization of the gaming product
  • Gaming roadmap ownership (with VP approval) based on company goals, business objectives and product performance
  • Create operational workflows, documentation, and standard operating procedures
  • Establish and enforce standards for operation, customer service, SLA, vendor management, external gaming initiatives outside of O&O products.
  • Track business performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Serve as the operational command center during major rodeos and events.
  • Coordinate launches across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Service.

Product Influence, Cowboy+
  • Collaborate with VP, Product to influence SVOD productization and future roadmap
  • Define intersection of Gaming and SVOD
  • Own gamification inside SVOD
  • Overlap with content and programming to ensure app programming remains high priority across the business. Retrofit new tools, training and otherwise to support content relevance, push alert strategy, short form storytelling, vertical integrations, etc.
  • Co-coordinate launches across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Service.

Technical Product Management
  • Maintain JIRA intake process and organize ticketing & project documentation
  • Drive cross-functional accountability to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with company objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination during major events, including rodeos, shows, and seasonal content launches, ensuring all operational teams are aligned and prepared.
  • Partner with the VP & General Manager to translate strategic priorities into actionable execution plans and continuously improve operational efficiency across both product lines.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years in Product Management, Product Operations, Digital Operations, or Gaming Operations
  • Experience supporting consumer-facing digital products
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional product launches
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced live-event environments
  • Experience with CMS platforms and digital merchandising
  • Experience with analytics tools such as GA4, Looker, or similar
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

This is a fully remote position anywhere within the United States. Working hours are aligned with Eastern/Central Time and may require occasional work on nights/weekends.
