To lead the development, governance, syndication, and optimization of product information across our growing portfolio of companies, brands, customers, and digital commerce channels.

This position will serve as the business owner of Peterson Farms' Product Information Management (PIM) ecosystem, including Salsify, and will lead efforts to establish consistent, accurate, complete, and customer-ready product information across retail, food service, ecommerce, and digital channels.

The Manager will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Quality, and other internal data owners to develop scalable product content processes and governance standards. The role will also support the continued growth of Peterson Farms' digital commerce capabilities, including product detail page optimization, retailer digital shelf content, Amazon Seller, Shopify, marketplaces, and other emerging ecommerce opportunities.

The ideal candidate combines strong product data and systems capabilities with an understanding of ecommerce, digital merchandising, customer requirements, and consumer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the business owner of Peterson Farms' PIM ecosystem, including Salsify, leading implementation, adoption, administration, optimization, and ongoing development of the platform across the organization.
  • Establish and maintain product information governance and standards, including data ownership, attributes, taxonomies, workflows, validation requirements, approval processes, and product lifecycle procedures.
  • Coordinate product data and digital asset collection across internal teams, partnering with Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, R&D, Operations, IT, Sales, and other data owners to ensure information is accurate, complete, current, and customer ready.
  • Manage GDSN and product content syndication across retail, foodservice, distributor, ecommerce, and other customer channels, including mapping products and attributes to customer-specific requirements, publication, validation, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of customer product assortments.
  • Lead digital shelf and product detail page optimization, establishing best practices for product titles, descriptions, images, attributes, claims, enhanced content, search optimization, and overall digital product presentation.
  • Manage and support Peterson Farms' ecommerce and marketplace channels, including Amazon Seller, Shopify, and future platforms, coordinating product listings, content, account activities, fulfillment partners, agencies, and other operational requirements.
  • Monitor product content and ecommerce performance, developing KPIs and reporting around data completeness, syndication, digital shelf quality, ecommerce performance, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, IT, and customer-facing teams to support product setup, customer data requests, system integrations, digital commerce initiatives, and evolving retailer and distributor requirements.
  • Develop documentation, training, and standard operating procedures for PIM, product content, syndication, data governance, and digital commerce processes, building organizational knowledge and accountability across data owners and users.
  • Identify and lead opportunities to improve Peterson Farms' digital commerce and product content capabilities, including process automation, system integration, new marketplaces, emerging technologies, and strategies that improve efficiency, data quality, product discoverability, and digital customer and consumer experience.
QUALIFICATIONS Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Ecommerce, Business, Information Systems, Data Management, Communications, or related field preferred.
Work Experience

  • Experience with PIM platforms is strongly preferred; Salsify experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience with GDSN, data pools, retailer product content platforms, or product data syndication strongly preferred.
  • Experience mapping product data and attributes to customer-specific schemas, requirements, taxonomies, or channel specifications.
  • Experience creating formulas, expressions, or custom code within PIM, syndication, or data-management platforms to transform and map internal product attributes to customer-specific requirements strongly preferred.
  • CPG, food and beverage, retail, manufacturing, or similarly complex product experience preferred.
  • Experience with Amazon Seller, Shopify, retailer ecommerce platforms, marketplaces, or digital shelf tools beneficial.
Skills and Knowledge
