Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Team Lead - Ad Certification to oversee day to day ad review operations while remaining hands on in production. This role combines people leadership, quality ownership, and active content review, ensuring consistent policy enforcement and high operational standards across the platform.
The ideal candidate is a strong critical thinker who can navigate grey areas, coach teams through complex decisions, and independently handle sensitive or high-risk content. This role operates in a fast-paced environment and requires close collaboration with cross functional stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform hands on ad and URL content review to maintain deep policy expertise and support production needs.
  • Deliver high quality, accurate, and consistent content review in line with defined SLAs and quality benchmarks.
  • Handle complex, sensitive, or high-risk escalations, applying sound judgment in ambiguous policy scenarios.
  • Identify emerging trends, policy gaps, and systemic risks through direct production exposure and report insights to management.
  • Support peak volumes, coverage gaps, and priority queues as required.
  • Act as the first line of support for a team of Ad Certification Specialists.
  • Provide real time guidance, decision support, and coaching on policy interpretation and edge cases.
  • Conduct regular quality reviews, calibrations, and feedback sessions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing skill development for new and existing team members.
  • Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and psychological safety, especially when dealing with sensitive content.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • At least 4 years of experience relating to the job description

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to navigate grey areas and ambiguous policy scenarios.
  • Proven experience in ad certification, ad review, or Trust & Safety content moderation.
  • Comfortable balancing people leadership with hands on production work.
  • Ability to think quantitatively and qualitatively when assessing content risk and trends.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, high volume, and informal environment.
  • Well informed about current events, pop culture, slang, and controversial topics.
  • Ability to manage repetitive tasks and exposure to sensitive or disturbing content.
  • Familiarity with Apple products and services (MacOS, iOS) is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including weekends, as required.
