Job Summary/Description:

WBKO News is looking for a candidate who loves creating content in the field as well as crafting newscasts. Our multi-platform Content Creator Producer position could be your ideal position.

Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

- Gathering content in the field with a right now, digital-first approach
- Daily contributions to digital and social platforms
- Live reporting from breaking news scenes, local events, and community coverage
- Writing, video editing, and producing newscasts
- Work seamlessly as a team and independently as the tasks require

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Degree in broadcast journalism preferred.
- Must be able to work flexible days and hours
- Ability to handle moderate to high stress and deadline pressure
- Strong editorial skills and working knowledge of AP and Broadcast Style are also preferred
- MVR Check
