Job description

Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. What does that mean? The Marketing Project Manager will be a dynamic and organized partner, ensuring consistent execution of cross-functional marketing initiatives and projects. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing global marketing campaigns and initiatives from concept to completion. Working cross-functionally with creative, content, digital and marketing operations teams to ensure alignment and execution of marketing projects to meet organizational and divisional objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, experience managing multiple projects, and the ability to think strategically.
What You Will Do at Graco
Marketing Project Planning and Execution
  • Develop comprehensive marketing project plans, campaigns and activities with clear timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables to support business objectives.
  • Ensure projects meet deadlines and stay within budget, adjusting as necessary for unforeseen issues.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks and implement solutions to ensure smooth progress.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including business divisions, creative and content teams, digital teams and others in marketing operations to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and communication among team members to ensure alignment and efficiency in project execution.
  • Serve as a central point of communication for all stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Ensure project reporting is communicated effectively to all stakeholders.

Budget, Resource and Risk Management
  • Manage projects concurrently, identifying and elevating resource constraints, roadblocks and deliverables.
  • Allocate resources, assign tasks, and coordinate team efforts to execute the project.
  • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate issues that may arise.
  • Ensure project expenses and budget are proper allocated and measured, and report on project progress, budget expenditure, and performance metrics.

Performance Management and Reporting
  • Develop standards and processes to increase efficiency of marketing projects.
  • Ensure tracking and analyze marketing activity performance metrics, such as engagement rates, conversion rates, and ROI are setup and communicated.
  • Partner with analytics team to prepare and present reports on marketing activity results to clients, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  • Work with teams to use performance data to adjust strategies and improve marketing outcomes.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to determine overall success and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze global marketing data to measure effectiveness and identify trends.

What You Will Bring to Graco
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administrator or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in related marketing activities.
  • Experience in designing and implementing corporate communications programs, preferably within a global business context.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale marketing projects.
  • Proven interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multifunctional teams on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to stay current with industry trends and apply best practices to marketing projects and activities.
  • An extremely high level of energy, sense of urgency and decisiveness, along with sound problem-solving skills.

Accelerators

  • Master's degree or relevant certification preferred.

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
