SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE

U.S. Ski & Snowboard is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Program Experience Manager to support the newly launched Insider membership loyalty program and a luxury travel & experiences vertical.

This role, which reports directly to the VP of Strategic New Business, offers the unique opportunity to work at the intersection of fan engagement and premium experiences. The Program Experience Manager will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of strategies that increase membership, drive fan engagement and support the growth of the Insider and travel experiences business verticals.

The ideal candidate will be able to seamlessly transition into projects midstream, have experience in program management, marketing, events and community engagement, with a passion for winter sports. To be successful in this role, you will need to be organized, have a positive mindset, embrace forging new processes and have a strong desire for learning and growth.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the Insider & travel and experiences programs, including creating and executing strategic plans for growth, engagement and retention.
  • Lead and manage onsite activation at a variety of US Ski and Snowboard events for Insider - driving new sign-ups and activating for existing members.
  • Support the continued refinement of the membership offering, conducting market research to adjust price points and member benefits, ensuring they remain appealing to the target audience and are align with organizational goals.
  • Identify, negotiate and secure deals with partners that provide additional value to the membership offering, such as exclusive discounts, access to events, or unique experiences. Work with partners to activate through their marketing channels.
  • Monitor and analyze fan program performance, including tracking membership growth, engagement metrics and financial performance to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, events, foundation, membership, commercial partnerships) to create compelling content, promotions and experiences for paid members.
  • Manage technical and operational aspects of the program, including oversight of the membership platform and proficiency with CRM tools.
  • Manage the fan program budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for fan program inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any issues or concerns.

COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, sports management or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in program management, marketing or community engagement, preferably in the sports industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms, with the ability to create and execute engaging campaigns.
  • Proven track record of successful partnership development and negotiation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget management, market research and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience and confidence working with data, inclusive of web metrics and digital conversion acumen.
  • Relevant experience driving strategy implementation and juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creativity, ability to develop and execute innovative solutions.
  • Passion for skiing and snowboarding, with a deep understanding of the sport's culture and community.
  • Willingness to travel and work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
