Amazon Content & SEO Manager

Bayland Health

Bellevue, WA โ€ข On-site

$85K - $95K/yr

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, PTO

Job description

About the role
Bayland Health is hiring an experienced Content Manager to own Amazon listing content and SEO across our three supplement brands: Micro Ingredients, NatureBell, and Deal Supplement, with Micro Ingredients as the primary focus.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who is both a strong content strategist and a rigorous Amazon SEO practitioner. You will manage the full listing content lifecycle - titles, bullets, descriptions, A+ content, storefront, and backend search terms - while owning the search-ranking and conversion strategy behind it. We already have a mature internal SEO logic and content framework; you will take it, sharpen it, systematize it, and scale it across a large multi-brand catalog.
This role has clear growth potential. As the content function expands, you will help build SOPs, standards, and workflows, and may grow into managing a small content/SEO team and extending into Shopify / off-Amazon (including generative-search / GEO) content.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own Amazon listing content strategy and execution across Micro Ingredients, NatureBell, and Deal Supplement.
  • Create and optimize titles, bullet points, descriptions, A+ / Brand Story content, storefront pages, and backend search terms - balancing SEO indexing with conversion and brand voice.
  • Lead keyword research grounded in Amazon search behavior (SQP, Brand Analytics), competitor listings, customer intent, and product positioning; maintain keyword maps and priority tiers.
  • Own the SEO ranking logic: relevance and indexing, traffic quality, CTR, CVR, review signals, and listing structure - and translate it into content decisions.
  • Plan, run, and read A/B tests (Manage Your Experiments and controlled rollouts) on titles, main images, bullets, and A+ to identify winning variants.
  • Respond to Amazon algorithm and policy changes - including title-format / character-limit and search-term updates - and adjust the catalog proactively.
  • Build repeatable content SOPs, style/compliance guidelines, keyword templates, and QA processes for a large SKU portfolio.
  • Partner with brand, design, advertising, and product teams so content is SEO-friendly, conversion-focused, and on-brand.
  • Monitor competitors and category trends (supplements/wellness), including hijacker/reseller content risk on head listings.
  • Prioritize content work across hundreds of ASINs and, over time, help hire, train, and manage junior content/SEO team members.

Required Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on Amazon content and SEO experience, ideally in supplements, health, beauty, grocery, or other highly competitive categories.
  • Proven ownership of listing content at scale - not just writing copy, but managing content strategy, standards, and workflow across many SKUs.
  • Deep understanding of Amazon listing optimization: keyword indexing, search ranking, relevancy, and conversion-rate optimization.
  • Strong data literacy - able to connect content changes to traffic, ranking, CTR, CVR, and sales, and to defend decisions with evidence.
  • Direct A/B testing experience (Manage Your Experiments or structured rollouts) and the discipline to isolate variables and read results correctly.
  • Fluency with Seller Central, Brand Analytics / SQP, and third-party tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or Data Dive.
  • Familiarity with Amazon compliance and health-claim limitations for supplements.
  • Excellent organization, cross-functional communication, and process-building instincts; comfortable operating with ambiguity and building from the ground up.
  • People-management or team-lead potential strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with supplement/health & wellness brands and large multi-brand catalogs.
  • Experience authoring Amazon SEO SOPs, content guidelines, keyword templates, or team workflows.
  • Exposure to generative-engine optimization (GEO) - optimizing content for AI/LLM-driven search and answer surfaces (Rufus, AI Overviews, ChatGPT/Perplexity shopping).
  • Shopify / off-Amazon and website SEO content experience.
  • Experience training or managing junior content/SEO staff.
  • Bilingual English / Chinese is a plus, not required.

Why Bayland Health?
  • Join a fast-growing health and wellness company with established brands and products trusted by millions of customers.
  • Make a visible business impact by shaping how customers discover, understand, and choose our products across Amazon.
  • Play a foundational role in building and scaling our Amazon content and SEO function, including its strategies, standards, workflows, and best practices.
  • Grow with the function and take on increasing leadership responsibilities, with the potential to become an early team lead as the team expands.

Salary and Benefits
  • $85K - $95K yearly base salary plus performance-based bonus
  • Health benefits: medical, dental, vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off, paid sick leave, and holidays
  • Monthly meal allowance
  • Free office snacks and drinks
  • Free parking at our Bellevue downtown office

Pay: $85,000 - $95,000 per year plus bonus incentives. The level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience will determine the compensation offered.
Bayland Health is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), race, color, age, national origin, religion, disability, genetic information, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender reassignment, citizenship, immigration status, protected veteran status, or any other status protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.
Bayland Health is a fast-growing wellness company with a portfolio of three nutrition brands-led by our flagship, Micro Ingredients. From superfoods to vitamins, we offer pure, high-quality ingredients trusted by over ten million health-conscious consumers.
As a Top 10 seller on Amazon and TikTok in the U.S., we're driven by innovation, transparency, and a commitment to making wellness simple and accessible. The pay range for this role is:
85,000 - 95,000 USD per year (Bellevue, WA)
