To thrive as a Content Moderator, you need strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and a good understanding of community guidelines, often supported by a relevant degree or prior moderation experience. Familiarity with content management systems, moderation tools, and automated filtering technologies is typically required. Excellent communication, resilience, and the ability to handle sensitive material with discretion are vital soft skills for this role.
