Compensation for this role is 95K-100K The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.
As the Content Marketing Specialist at RXO, you'll manage the full lifecycle of digital content - from researching, interviewing and writing to optimization, formatting and distribution. Working closely with the Director of Content, you'll get to exercise your creativity, strategic thinking, communication skills and technical expertise.
Work Location & Schedule: This position is based out of either RXO's Chicago office at 2545 West Diversey Ave., Chicago, IL, 60647, or RXO headquarters located at 11215 N Community House Road, Charlotte, NC 28277 and follows a four-day onsite work schedule Monday through Thursday, work from home on Fridays!
What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Manage RXO's social media channels, including strategy, drafting, scheduling and posting
  • Interview internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to inform content creation
  • Conduct industry and competitive research to guide content strategy
  • Use SEO/AEO tools to gather and implement insights for organic search performance
  • Draft copy to support multi-channel marketing campaigns (web, email, digital ad, etc.)
  • Leverage Gen AI agents to support research, copywriting and content production
  • Build and publish clear, concise, visually appealing content in CMS
  • Identify outdated or underperforming content and initiate a strategic refresh

At a minimum, you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent related work
  • 2-3 years of experience in content creation for digital marketing
  • Strong copywriting skills (including a portfolio demonstrating your ability to write clear, engaging B2B copy for webpages, blog posts, emails, social media, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and business functions
  • Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Active familiarity with Gen AI tools for writing assistance
  • Experience with SEO and AEO
  • Familiarity with basic visual creation tools (e.g. Canva) and a sharp eye for layouts

It'd be great if you also have:
  • Direct experience in B2B marketing
  • Familiarity with the transportation / logistics industry
  • Graphic design experience and expertise
