What is a content moderator?

Content Moderators are professionals responsible for reviewing and monitoring user-generated content on websites, social media platforms, and forums to ensure it complies with community guidelines and legal requirements. They evaluate text, images, videos, and other media for inappropriate, offensive, or harmful material, removing or reporting content that violates policies. Content Moderators play a crucial role in maintaining safe and respectful online environments, often working in teams and using specialized tools or software. Their work helps prevent the spread of misinformation, hate speech, and other problematic content online.

You'll get hands-on experience building content systems, skills, and capabilities that bring content design into an AI-enabled future. You will work closely with product designers and cross-functional teams to simplify complex healthcare concepts, ensure accessibility and compliance, and contribute to scalable content systems. This is an opportunity to define content structures and taxonomies, evolve content for AI-powered and conversational experiences, and make a meaningful impact on member engagement and understanding.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Partner closely with product designers to shape pharmacy and benefits workflows from concept through delivery
  • Develop and implement content strategy, ensuring messaging consistency across the member journey
  • Simplify complex pharmacy and healthcare concepts into accessible, plain language content
  • Ensure content meets accessibility, health literacy, and compliance requirements
  • Partner with cross-functional teams from concept through launch, using customer insights and research to shape and improve experiences
  • Apply content standards, design system guidance, and messaging frameworks for consistent experiences across products and channels
  • Contribute to content governance, reusable patterns, and scalable content components
  • Define content structures, taxonomies, and metadata strategies to enable reuse, personalization, and scalability
  • Evolve content systems for AI-powered and conversational experiences while maintaining clarity, accuracy, compliance, and user trust
  • Define and refine content patterns, conversational experiences, prompts, and guidance for AI-enabled member experiences
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate content creation, research synthesis, and workflow efficiency
  • Evaluate and experiment with emerging AI capabilities, sharing learnings and recommendations with the broader design team
  • Identify opportunities to streamline content creation through AI-enabled workflows across pharmacy experiences
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 5+ years of experience in content design or UX writing for mobile and web applications
  • Portfolio demonstrating content strategy, problem-solving, and digital experience improvement
  • Experience with AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, Cursor) and interest in emerging technologies
  • Ability to simplify complex healthcare or pharmacy concepts into accessible, compliant language
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience building and applying content systems, standards, and reusable patterns
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and managing multiple initiatives
  • Healthcare, pharmacy, PBM, or regulated industry experience preferred
  • Systems thinking, adaptability, and curiosity about evolving content technologies
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
  • Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Health Savings Account and Dependent Care FSA options
  • Supplemental coverage plans to fit your needs
  • 401(k) plan with company match, fully vested after eligibility
