Position Summary

The Content Product Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of Light & Wonder's games portfolio across North America, working with internal studios, Commercial and Product functions. Reporting to the Director, Product Management (Games), this role ensures that studio roadmaps are well-defined, commercially optimised, and executed to a high standard.

The role operates at the intersection of Product, Studios, and Commercial teams, driving strong product planning, seamless delivery, and effective go-to-market execution. It requires a highly proactive, data-driven approach with a deep understanding of game development and market dynamics, who can identify opportunities, solve problems, and maximise performance across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio & Roadmap Management

  • Own the day-to-day management of Light & Wonder's North American studio roadmap across all studios

  • Ensure a balanced, high-performing portfolio aligned to regional market needs and global content strategy

  • Prioritise game releases and initiatives based on commercial impact, player value, and strategic fit

  • Continuously assess portfolio performance and optimise sequencing, mix, and focus

Product Development & Delivery

  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through to post-release optimisation

  • Work closely with studio teams to ensure games are developed in line with Product Management specifications and quality expectations

  • Act as a key point of contact within the game development lifecycle, ensuring alignment between Product, Creative, and Studio teams

  • Proactively identify and resolve delivery risks, gaps, and inefficiencies

Go-To-Market & Commercial Enablement

  • Lead GTM planning for key game releases, ensuring strong positioning, clear messaging, and coordinated execution across teams.

  • Own and expand Sales Enablement programs, equipping Commercial teams with the tools, insights, and narratives needed to successfully sell the portfolio

  • Partner closely with Commercial teams to ensure product plans are aligned with market opportunities and customer needs

  • Support regional activation of our Global Content Strategy

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Creative Studios, Game Studios, Commercial, and wider Product teams to ensure effective product planning and execution

  • Ensure alignment between central strategy and regional market requirements

  • Facilitate clear communication and accountability across stakeholders

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Use performance data, market insights, and player behaviour to inform product decisions and prioritisation

  • Monitor KPIs across the portfolio and identify opportunities for optimisation and growth

  • Drive continuous improvement through testing, analysis, and iteration

  • Partner with analytics teams to generate actionable insights that inform roadmap and GTM decisions

Subject Matter Expertise

  • Develop deep expertise in game design, mechanics, and production processes

  • Build strong knowledge of key North American markets, player preferences, and regulatory considerations

  • Act as a trusted product expert for internal stakeholders

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Game Design, or related field; MBA a plus but not required

  • 5+ years' experience in product management, portfolio management, or content strategy roles, ideally within gaming, iGaming, or the broader entertainment/media industry

  • Proven experience managing a product roadmap or portfolio across multiple stakeholders, with accountability for commercial outcomes

  • Direct experience working with or within game development studios, understanding production pipelines, creative processes, and delivery timelines
