About the Role

Howard Hughes Communities is seeking a highly motivated marketing and communications professional to serve as Senior Manager, Corporate Marketing & Digital Media. Reporting to the VP, Head of Marketing & Communications, this role will lead corporate social media, content development, internal communications, press and crisis communications support to strengthen the HHC brand and advance key business objectives. The role will partner closely with leadership, regional marketing teams and corporate functions, including Culture + People, to develop and execute integrated communications and marketing initiatives.


What You Will Do

  • Corporate Digital & Social Media: Lead the corporate social media strategy and execution across LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms. Develop and manage the social media calendar, oversee content creation and publishing, and identify opportunities to amplify Howard Hughes Communities stories, projects, leadership, and corporate initiatives.

  • Internal Communications: Support the development and execution of internal communications programs and content that inform, engage, and align employees with company priorities, initiatives, news, and culture. Draft and edit employee communications, intranet content, leadership messages, newsletters, and other internal communications across multiple channels.

  • Media & Public Relations Support: Support corporate media relations efforts by developing messaging, media briefing materials, talking points, backgrounders, and other communications materials. Monitor relevant media coverage and industry news and help identify opportunities to proactively position the Company and its executives.

  • Crisis Communications Support: Support the Corporate Communications team in preparing for and responding to communications issues and potential crises. Assist with monitoring, research, message development, holding statements, internal communications, media responses, and other materials needed to support timely and coordinated communications.

  • Corporate Marketing: Manage and support corporate marketing initiatives, including the corporate website, awards and rankings, industry case studies, conferences, events, sponsorships, and other strategic initiatives. Partner with internal teams and regional marketing organizations to develop content that supports corporate priorities and strengthens the Company's brand.

  • Awards & Industry Recognition: Identify and track relevant awards, rankings, and recognition opportunities; manage submission timelines and coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop compelling applications and supporting materials.

  • Content Development: Research and synthesize industry trends, market developments, company initiatives, and primary research into clear, compelling content for internal and external audiences. Draft articles, positioning statements, presentations, social content, executive communications, and other marketing and communications materials.

  • Thought Leadership & Executive Communications: Identify and develop thought leadership opportunities for executive leadership, including articles, op-eds, speaking opportunities, presentations, talking points, and other executive content. Monitor industry trends and conduct research to develop timely, data-informed perspectives and messaging.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Culture + People, regional marketing teams, executives, and other business functions to develop and execute integrated communications and marketing initiatives. Serve as a communications resource and subject matter expert for digital, social, and corporate content.

  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, meet quality standards, and align with corporate communications, marketing, and brand objectives.

  • Quality & Brand Consistency: Review, edit, and proof communications and marketing materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and alignment with corporate brand standards and messaging.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism or related field preferred.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in marketing and/or communications.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail, grammar, and style.

  • Proficient in relevant social channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube as well as emerging channels.

  • Experience working in a highly cross-functional, performance-driven, matrixed organization with a high degree of collaboration.

  • Experience working with content management platforms; experience with Sprout Social.

  • Excitement for learning, open to new experiences and challenges in a fast-paced environment.

  • A team player with the ability to multi-task and who is self-directed.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

  • Must be deadline-focused, highly organized, and exhibit problem-solving skills.
