From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.
We are seeking a Sr Content Strategist to help build Amazon Leo's global content engine from the ground up

This is a rare opportunity to define how a transformative new service tells its story-shaping content strategy that drives awareness, consideration, and brand affinity at a global scale and across B2B and B2C segments. You will own the strategy, the calendar, and the end-to-end content operation that brings Amazon Leo's mission to life for every audience we serve.
The right candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, creative excellence, and operational rigor. You will develop differentiated content strategies for distinct customer segments, oversee content creation across multiple formats and providers, and ensure brand and messaging consistency across every touchpoint

You will also pioneer how we optimize content for AI answer engines and leverage AI tools to scale content production and personalization. Success in this role requires a relentless focus on the customer, excellent writing and communication skills, comfort working in an ambiguous and fast-moving environment, and an ability to execute at scale and with the highest standards. Existing understanding of telecom, satellite internet, or technology categories is a plus.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute global content strategies aligned with Amazon Leo's business goals and target audiences across B2B and B2C segments
- Own and manage the global content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of content aligned with product launches, campaigns, and market segment moments
- Oversee content creation across various formats (blogs, white papers, case studies, infographics, videos, and more) working with internal teams and external content providers
- Conduct audience research and content audits to inform strategy and identify content gaps
- Optimize content for SEO, answer engine visibility, and multi-system distribution
- Leverage AI tools and automation to scale content production, personalization, and optimization across segments
- Analyze performance metrics and recommend improvements to drive continuous content optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product marketing, product management, comms, and subject matter experts) to ensure alignment across execution touchpoints
- Ensure brand voice, messaging, and positioning consistency across all content
- Determine optimal content formats and channels based on audience segment and persona to drive engagement, lead generation, and customer loyalty
- Manage relationships with internal and external content creators, agencies, and subject matter experts
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor content strategies, and algorithm changes affecting content marketing
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S

citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
A day in the life
- Guide content creators, designers, and agency partners in producing compelling content across formats
- Identify trends, content gaps, and audience preferences to inform the editorial roadmap
- Collaborate with data and analytics teams to develop KPIs and measure content effectiveness
