Friedman Real Estate is seeking a talented, creative, and business-minded Director of Corporate Communications & Content Strategy to lead our internal and external communications efforts, elevate our brand voice, and help tell the stories that differentiate Friedman across the commercial real estate industry.
This role is ideal for an exceptional writer, storyteller, editor, and communications professional who understands how to translate complex business activities into compelling narratives that engage clients, prospects, employees, brokers, investors, and industry influencers.
The successful candidate will serve as the company's chief content creator and communications strategist, responsible for developing executive communications, thought leadership, company announcements, marketing collateral, employee communications, case studies, success stories, media relations content, and digital content that supports business development and brand growth.
This position plays a critical role in helping Friedman communicate who we are, what we do, and why we win.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Strategic Communications Leadership
Develop and execute internal and external communications strategies that strengthen brand awareness, employee engagement, market presence, and business development efforts
Serve as a steward of the Friedman brand voice, ensuring consistency across all communications channels and business lines
Create messaging frameworks and communications strategies that support company growth initiatives, acquisitions, leadership announcements, major assignments, service launches, and strategic initiatives
Partner closely with executive leadership to communicate company vision, accomplishments, culture, and market positioning

Identify and develop meaningful stories across the organization that showcase:

Internal Communications & Culture

Sales & Business Development Support
Partner closely with brokerage, management, construction, lending, and business development teams to create content that supports revenue growth
Develop sales-enablement content including:

Help communicate Friedman's unique value proposition across all service offerings
Translate technical industry knowledge into clear, client-focused messaging
AI-Enhanced Content Operations
Leverage AI-powered writing, research, editing, and content development tools to improve efficiency and scale content production
Create workflows that allow the organization to produce more high-quality content without sacrificing quality, authenticity, or strategic messaging
Apply strong editorial judgment and fact-checking to ensure all AI-assisted content reflects Friedman's standards, expertise, and brand voice
Explore emerging AI communications technologies and identify opportunities for innovation
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of professional communications, content marketing, journalism, public relations, or corporate communications experience
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
  • Experience interviewing subject matter experts and transforming complex information into compelling narratives
  • Strong understanding of content strategy and audience engagement
  • Ability to write in multiple voices and styles
  • Experience supporting executive communications
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
