Position Overview

State Street's Alternatives Product organizationincluding Private Credit, Private Equity, Real Assets, Hedge and TA / Wealth Distributionis seeking a highly motivated, AI-enabled content and marketing professional to support the growth, positioning, and commercialization of our global Alternatives business.

This role sits within the Alternatives Product team and serves as a strategic partner to Product Management, Sales, Client Coverage, and Marketing. The successful candidate will help bring our product strategy, capabilities, and differentiation to life through compelling content, visual storytelling, digital media, thought leadership, sales enablement materials, and client communications.

We are seeking an individual who combines exceptional writing and communication skills with creativity, business acumen, technical curiosity, and a strong understanding of alternative investments. The ideal candidate is AI-native, highly organized, intellectually curious, and capable of transforming complex investment servicing, technology, operational, and regulatory concepts into clear, impactful content for clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders.

This is not a traditional proposal-writing role.While RFP/RFI proposalsand due diligence support will be part of the position, the primary focus is helping the Alternatives Product organization communicate, market, and commercialize its strategy, capabilities, and solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

Product Marketing & Commercialization

  • Partner with Alternatives Product leaders to develop and execute product marketing strategies and communications.

  • Create compelling content that supports commercialization efforts across State Street's Alternatives platform.

  • Translate complex product, technology, servicing, and operational capabilities into client-facing value propositions.

  • Support product launches, strategic initiatives, and go-to-market activities.

  • Develop messaging that clearly differentiates State Street in the alternatives marketplace.

Content Development & Thought Leadership

  • Create presentations, pitch books, sales collateral, client communications, white papers, articles, executive briefs, videos, and digital content.

  • Develop thought leadership and market commentary on trends across alternative investments.

  • Conduct industry and competitor research to inform content development.

  • Build narratives tailored to asset managers, asset owners, wealth platforms, family offices, general partners, and institutional investors.

Sales Enablement & Strategic Pursuits

  • Support RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and strategic sales pursuits.

  • Develop executive summaries, value propositions, and customized pursuit materials.

  • Coordinate with Product, Sales, Legal, Operations, and Technology teams to gather information and ensure accuracy.

  • Maintain content repositories and reusable sales enablement materials.

AI-Enabled Content Creation

  • Leverage generative AI tools to improve content quality, speed, scalability, and consistency.

  • Use AI technologies to create written content, presentations, infographics, videos, digital media, and other marketing assets.

  • Develop prompt frameworks and content workflows that improve productivity across the Product organization.

  • Stay current on emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to improve marketing and content development processes.

Visual Storytelling & Digital Content

  • Design professional, executive-level presentations and visual communications.

  • Develop infographics, process diagrams, workflows, charts, animations, and video content that simplify complex concepts.

  • Produce content that effectively combines strong design principles with commercial messaging.

  • Ensure consistency with State Street branding while introducing creative and innovative communication approaches.

  • 5+ years of experience in investment management, alternatives, financial services marketing, product marketing, sales enablement, consulting, or a related discipline.

  • Experience supporting alternative investment managers, asset servicers, fund administrators, custodians, or fintech providers.

  • Demonstrated portfolio of presentations, marketing campaigns, thought leadership, digital content, videos, or other creative business communications.

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $140,000 Annual
