About AppDirect

Become a digital, global citizen and enable the new generation of digital entrepreneurs around the world. AppDirect offers a subscription commerce platform to sell any product, through any channel, on any device - as a service. We power millions of subscriptions worldwide for organizations. We do this by our values-driven culture-one that enables you to Be Seen, Be Yourself, and Do Your Best Work.

About You

As Senior Manager of Web & AI Experience, you'll be at the forefront of crafting compelling digital experiences for our customers, partners, and stakeholders. All stakeholder experiences begin on our website and you will curate the front door to AppDirect and our subsidiary brands: from ensuring prospective customers can find us to how they find themselves in the experiences you're building for them.

You'll blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution-some days building a roadmap that balances business priorities with team capacity, other days diving deep into technical challenges or enabling others to bring their ideas to life through vibe-coded solutions.

You'll lead a small, agile web dev team responsible for end-customer and partner experiences that start on our website. You'll transform your team into having an AI-first mentality- from embedding AI into customer experiences to accelerating your team's outputs with AI. You will leverage AppDirect's proprietary AI platform (devs.ai) and leading vibe-coding environments to unlock the creative and technical potential of technical and non-technical teams and accelerate our overall time-to-market.

This role is highly cross-functional. You'll collaborate closely with other marketing teams, technical teams, product, and leadership to deliver measurable, strategic outcomes. You're not just keeping up with technology-you're pushing it forward.

What you'll do and how you'll have an impact

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of AppDirect's corporate website and cornerstone sales and marketing applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead AI integration across the team's workflows - identifying, testing, and implementing tools for development acceleration, content generation, prototyping, and UX personalization.
  • Drive LLM-aware content (AEO/GEO) and SEO strategy, ensuring digital content is discoverable by both human audiences and AI systems.
  • Manage and mentor a team of web developers working with the latest AI & Web technologies (we are largely tool agnostic) , setting performance standards and supporting professional development.
  • Partner with design and UI teams to evolve our component library and design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and responsiveness across all digital touchpoints.
  • Improve site performance through technical optimization, structured data, experimentation, and conversion testing.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience leading web strategy or design, or  digital product management, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Hands-on experience with common web technologies like React, Next.js, web infrastructure, vibe-coding tools, and database/CMS systems.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating AI tools into development or content workflows, including LLM-driven coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Lovable, or devs.ai).
  • Proven experience with technical SEO, performance optimization, structured data, and LLM-aware content strategies.
  • Experience managing technical teams and driving cross-functional initiatives with product, design, and marketing stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills - because this role requires translating complex technical decisions into clear direction for non-technical partners and senior leadership.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and iterative ways of working - because the AI landscape shifts quickly and this role requires continuous evaluation and reprioritization of tools and approaches.
