Job description

Position Summary Mont Cascades is seeking a Marketing and Social Media Intern to support the promotion of the resort's activities and services. Working under the supervision of management, the successful candidate will assist with content creation and digital marketing initiatives aimed at promoting both the ski resort and water park. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in tourism marketing, digital communications, and social media management.

Key Responsibilities Assist in creating content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok; Draft and publish promotional posts under supervision; Capture photos and videos during events and resort activities; Assist with maintaining and updating the social media content calendar; Monitor and respond to social media comments and messages according to established guidelines; Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and industry best practices; Support the development of promotional and marketing materials; Assist with the planning and promotion of special events and activities; Compile and track basic social media and marketing performance metrics; Participate in promotional and networking activities as required; Provide general administrative support for marketing initiatives. Currently enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Tourism, or related post-secondary program; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok; Creative, organized, and detail-oriented; Ability to work independently while following direction and established guidelines; Experience with Canva, Adobe Express, or other graphic design tools is considered an asset; Photography and video editing skills are considered an asset; Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
