Fulcrum

Minneapolis, MN

Full-time

Job description

Our mission is clear and staggeringly important: we're building the manufacturing operating system of the future from the ground up, one that’s engineered to create network effects as we grow. A beautiful, sophisticated quantum leap forward for the most important core industry in the world.

Manufacturing is important. It’s the fundamental industry on which everything else is built. We take it for granted. In 1989, 35% of the entire software industry was manufacturing systems. What was the first massive burst in productivity from technology has stagnated into diminishing returns and increasing complexity. We can only continue to add complexity for so much longer until the whole system collapses.

"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex. It takes a touch of genius and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction." - Albert Einstein
Who you are
  • You have good taste and strong creative instincts
  • You know the difference between content that's good enough and content that's genuinely great
  • You can take complex, technical concepts, and turn them into clear, compelling stories
  • You work autonomously, manage multiple projects at once, and don’t require constant direction to move fast
  • You’re energized by execution, you love shipping work fast, and creating momentum
  • You’re curious and constantly experimenting, especially with AI tools to help you work smarter and faster
  • You are comfortable talking to customers, asking thoughtful questions, and pulling out insights
  • You enjoy collaborating with people across different functions and personalities
  • You're open to feedback and constantly looking to improve your craft
  • You have 3-7 years of experience in this type of role
What the job is

This role sits at the intersection of content marketing and product marketing. We have deep customer knowledge, strong product expertise, and a growing library of stories worth telling. Your job is to package that knowledge, bring it to life, and get it in front of the customers who need to hear it.

You'll:

  • Work with customers and internal subject matter experts to surface stories worth telling
  • Drive product launches with content, messaging, visuals, and positioning
  • Produce and edit video content for social media, product launches, customer stories, and campaigns
  • Plan, edit, and publish podcast episodes end to end
  • Build landing pages, web content, and digital experiences that bring leads into the pipeline
  • Organize and maintain Fulcrum's content library so assets are findable and reusable
  • Leverage AI tools to optimize the way you work with content creation, editing, production, research, and distribution
  • Continuously test new formats, channels, and creative approaches
  • Help maintain and evolve Fulcrum's brand across all customer-facing touchpoints
  • Travel onsite to meet, interview, and watch how customers operate to gain a deeper understanding
Who you'll work with
  • Marketing Leadership: you'll get direct access to strategic coaching, honest feedback, and support for your growth and development
  • Product Team: you'll collaborate closely on messaging, positioning, and how we bring new features and launches to market
  • Design Team: you'll partner on maintaining a consistent, high-quality brand across every customer touchpoint
  • Sales Team: you'll stay close to the field, trading insights on messaging, customer feedback, and what's resonating in the market
Why this role is different

This isn't a role where you'll spend months debating positioning frameworks or sitting in planning meetings. We already have the content, the customer knowledge, and the product expertise. What we need is someone who can package it, amplify it, and get it in front of the right people.

One week, you might be filming a customer story on the shop floor. The next you're launching a podcast episode, redesigning a webpage, building a product launch campaign, or turning a customer visit into twenty pieces of content.

You'll have the freedom to experiment, create, and make a visible impact on how Fulcrum grows.

  • Equity
  • 401(k) matching after 90 days - immediate vesting
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits
  • Wellbeing benefits and perks
  • Unlimited vacation policy with minimum required vacation days
  • Cell phone & internet plan coverage

This role is open to candidates located in the U.S. and authorized to work here. We’re not able to offer visa sponsorship at this time.
The market tells us we’re on the right track: +50% year over year growth but we know to not rest on our laurels and that there's a lot of stuff to build and a huge amount of work to be done. We're looking for people who can stand alongside us and work hard to make our dreams become reality in the fastest, smoothest, and best way possible.

If you're someone who is obsessed with making amazing things, being the best, and wanting your work to contribute to something excellent, please reach out.
