Overview:

2020 Companies is hiring for a Field Training & Content Specialist opportunity representing our client, Samsung Electronics America

The Field Training & Content Specialist is a highly engaging and personable brand representative who connects products, people, and ideas. This role supports field teams and sales associates by building product confidence, delivering practical education, and creating engaging content that helps people better understand and sell our products.

Unlike a traditional Trainer role, this position focuses less on being the technical expert and more on how information is communicated. The ideal candidate builds relationships easily, is confident in front of people and on camera, and can turn product knowledge into clear, relatable, and engaging experiences across retail, training, events, and digital channels.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary, weekly pay
  • Quarterly bonus potential
  • Next-day pay on demand with DailyPay
  • Medical/Dental/Vision
  • 401 (k) match
  • Partial Mobile Reimbursement
  • Paid time off
  • Professional, upscale, and innovative work environment
  • Achieving team goals
  • Work alongside a best-in-class team

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train field teams, sales associates, and retail partners on key products, features, benefits, and selling strategies
  • Develop engaging product training that's informative, practical, and easy for sales associates to apply with customers
  • Translate technical product information into simple, compelling stories that resonate with both sales teams and consumers
  • Serve as an on-camera personality and spokesperson for product education and brand content
  • Quickly develop and deliver short-form and long-form video content, including product demonstrations, training videos, product explainers, social content, and educational segments
  • Create content independently and respond swiftly to new products, launches, promotions, trends, and business priorities
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and creative teams to ensure messaging is accurate and aligned with brand objectives
  • Conduct live or virtual training sessions, presentations, demonstrations, and potentially live-streamed content
  • Identify opportunities to improve product knowledge and sales performance through training and content
  • Stay current on product innovations, competitive offerings, and trends within appliances, home entertainment, and consumer technology
  • Travel to retail locations, events, customer meetings, and training sessions as needed

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in sales training, product education, retail sales, brand representation, or field marketing
  • Strong product knowledge and experience with appliances is highly desirable
  • Background in home entertainment, consumer electronics, smart-home technology, or related categories is a strong plus
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • A natural, confident, and engaging on-camera presence
  • Ability to make complex product information easy, interesting, and relatable
  • Comfortable creating content quickly without needing extensive production support
  • Strong storytelling instincts and an understanding of what makes video content engaging
  • Ability to work across different content formats, from quick social clips to detailed product training
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple products, audiences, and priorities
  • Willingness to travel to support field training and business needs

The Ideal Candidate: You're someone who can walk into a room and teach a sales team about a new product, then confidently explain that same product on camera in 60 seconds. You understand that great training isn't just about knowing the product; it's about communicating why the product matters. You're equally comfortable talking to a room of sales associates, demonstrating a product on camera, creating a quick social video, or developing a longer educational segment. You bring energy, authenticity, curiosity, and a genuine passion for helping people understand and sell great products.

Why This Role Is Unique: This position sits at the intersection of sales, training, product expertise, and content creation. It's an opportunity for someone who doesn't want to be limited to a traditional training role but wants to become a recognizable, trusted voice for products and brands. If you're a strong presenter, product enthusiast, natural storyteller, and can create great content quickly and authentically, we'd love to hear from you.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, training, retail, consumer products, field marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Appliance, home entertainment, consumer electronics, or technology experience strongly preferred
  • Experience presenting or creating video content is highly valued
  • Demonstrated ability to engage an audience both in person and on camera
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
  • Portfolio, demo reel, social content examples, or previous on-camera work is a plus
