Job description

Who You'll Be Working With

At PMG, our Influencer & Branded Content team is at the intersection of culture, storytelling, and strategy, helping brands connect with audiences in authentic, meaningful ways. We craft high-impact influencer campaigns that go beyond traditional advertising, driving engagement, building brand affinity, and delivering measurable results across social, digital, and experiential platforms.

As the Influencer & Branded Content Director, you'll set the strategic direction for how PMG builds, scales, and elevates influencer and creator marketing across clients. You'll collaborate with creators, talent agencies, media strategists, content teams, client leaders, and brand partners to develop programs that connect cultural relevance with business impact. A key focus will be scaling PMG's influencer and creator marketing discipline by establishing frameworks, strengthening talent and platform relationships, and setting clear standards for authenticity, quality, measurement, and effectiveness.

You'll also play a highly visible role in shaping the future of branded content at PMG, exploring new content formats, identifying emerging platforms, and guiding teams toward creator strategies that are innovative, thoughtful, and built for measurable impact. At PMG, we don't just follow trends-we create them.

If you're passionate about shaping culture through creator-driven storytelling, using data to guide meaningful decisions, and redefining what's possible in influencer marketing, this is the place to make your mark.

What You Will Do
  • Set the vision and strategic direction for PMG's Influencer & Branded Content discipline, defining department goals, channel priorities, measurement expectations, and long-term growth opportunities.
  • Lead and develop the Influencer & Branded Content team, overseeing team structure, workload planning, day-to-day operations, and professional growth while creating an environment rooted in collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
  • Establish PMG as a leader in influencer marketing and branded content by bringing a strong point of view to client conversations, industry opportunities, thought leadership, and emerging creator trends.
  • Develop and champion innovative influencer and branded content programs for existing clients and new business opportunities, partnering closely with account, strategy, media, and creative teams to connect creator ideas to client objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier creators, talent agencies, publishers, and platform partners to expand PMG's access to new opportunities, creator insights, platform innovation, and strategic partnerships.
  • Oversee high-impact influencer and branded content campaigns, ensuring work is strategically sound, operationally efficient, aligned to brand standards, and optimized for measurable success.
  • Define and evolve measurement frameworks that help teams evaluate creator performance, campaign effectiveness, audience engagement, and business impact.
  • Coach, mentor, and guide team members across levels, providing clear feedback, career support, and opportunities to grow their strategic, client-facing, and channel expertise.
  • The primary focus of this role is the Influencer & Branded Content channel, ensuring excellence in strategy, execution, and performance. However, responsibilities may extend across other media channels as needed to support broader campaign objectives and business priorities.
What You Will Bring
  • 8+ years of experience in Influencer & Branded Content, including 3+ years of leadership experience, with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • You bring advanced expertise in content creation and influencer marketing strategy, shaping creator-led programs that connect cultural insight, platform behavior, and client business goals.
  • You have deep experience in contract review and proposal development, guiding partnership negotiations with clarity, consistency, and a focus on long-term value for brands, creators, and clients.
  • You bring advanced detail orientation, setting high standards across campaign execution, reporting, content approvals, compliance, and partnership deliverables.
  • You have strong proficiency in project implementation, directing complex influencer and branded content programs from strategic planning through launch, optimization, and post-campaign learning.
  • You are skilled in presentation and communication, delivering clear strategic narratives, executive-ready recommendations, and performance insights to clients, partners, and internal leaders.
  • You have a deep understanding of advertising standards, client service, and relationship management, helping brands and creators build trusted partnerships that meet business, legal, and platform expectations.
  • You are proficient with influencer management dashboards, social media platforms, and the broader social media ecosystem, using data to evaluate creators, guide investment decisions, and refine campaign performance.
  • You have experience in networking and influencer marketing, building meaningful relationships with creators, agencies, publishers, and platform partners that expand opportunity and strengthen PMG's market presence.
  • You bring strategic thinking, business and financial acumen, and thoughtful resource management to shape department priorities, guide team planning, and build scalable approaches for client growth.
  • A commitment to curiosity and adaptability as a Continual Learner, staying at the forefront of media innovation while prioritizing client success with a Customer-Focused mindset that seeks opportunities to deliver meaningful value.
  • A dedication to People-Focused leadership, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth by Leading by Example and nurturing strong relationships that empower others to excel.
