Do you have a passion for baseball and/or softball and love working with young athletes?

EL1 Sports, the proud youth baseball and softball training partner of Major League Baseball, is seeking an Assistant Instructor to join our Mobile team! In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering top-level instruction to youth athletes while collaborating with experienced instructors.


This is a seasonal position running from June through September, ideal for individuals seeking summer employment in a dynamic, fast-paced sports environment. There is potential for continued opportunities beyond the summer season based on performance, organizational needs, and availability.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist instructors in delivering skill-specific baseball and softball instruction in our facilities and at fields throughout the community.
  • Help build positive relationships with athletes, families, and coaches.
  • Assist with the preparation, setup, and breakdown of equipment for training programs and events.
  • Collaborate with instructors to ensure age and ability-appropriate content is delivered in team, camp/clinic, and small group settings (you will not be conducting one-on-one lessons).
  • Learn and utilize technologies to enhance instruction and athlete experience.
  • Attend staff meetings, instructor meetings, and company events as needed.
  • Travel to surrounding communities for programs may be required.

Requirements

  • Experience playing and/or coaching baseball or softball (Minimum of High School experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructional plans and adapt them to meet the needs of various age groups and skill levels.
  • Supportive and encouraging mindset with a passion for helping young athletes learn and grow.
  • Eagerness to learn and collaborate with experienced instructors.
