Job Description:

Russell Investments is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking communication professional to join our Corporate Communications team in Seattle as an Investment Content Specialist. In this role, you'll partner closely corporate marketing and senior leadership to shape and amplify Russell Investments brand across digital channels, investor materials, and internal communications. You'll report directly to the Director, Corporate Marketing. In this role, you will be responsible content creation and optimizing for organic and AI-driven discovery, while also supporting enterprise insights.

You will shape and deliver short-form video scripts, LinkedIn content, infographics and high-impact internal communications-bringing Russell's brand and leadership tone to life across a variety of platforms.Thisposition combines strategic executive storytelling with hands-on digital execution.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and script high-impact content for LinkedIn, investor videos, internal updates, and leadership messaging.

  • Create high-impact content across multiple formats-teleprompter-ready video scripts investment insights, podcasts, and short-form digital storytelling.

  • Translate complex investment topics into clear, compelling communications on social media.

  • Manage messaging and asset quality across visual and media formats, partnering with internal video and creative teams as well as external agencies.

  • Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate drafting, enhance tone alignment, and streamline content workflows.

  • Help lead the digital optimization of content pieces for SEO, organic and AI-driven discovery.

  • Maintain a living tone and messaging toolkit to support executive voice alignment across channels.

  • Content creation for Social Media.

  • Digital Optimization: optimize content for SEO and GEO, define objectives and performance measures for major corporate marketing content initiatives, and incorporate engagement insights to refine future content strategy.

Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of experience in communications, journalism, digital content, or executive writing-ideally within asset management, professional services, or financial media.

  • Strong experience scripting and writing for executive stakeholders, with a demonstrated ability to capture voice and intent.

  • Familiarity with social and digital platforms, including video scripting and short-form content for platforms like LinkedIn.

  • Familiarity with investment themes and financial communications; ability to distill and communicate complex topics to different audiences.

  • Background in RFPs, client communications, or investor messaging is preferred.

  • Proficiency with AI tools and emerging digital platforms that enhance storytelling and engagement.

  • A strong editorial instinct with exceptional writing, editing, and project management skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Finance, or related field.

  • Comfort operating in high-visibility executive environments with discretion, judgment, and a bias for action.
