Position Summary
The Coachella Valley Lakers are seeking a highly motivated and creative In-Game Presentation & Content Coordinator to support the team's marketing, content, social media, entertainment, and in-game presentation efforts throughout the season. This hands-on role combines day-to-day marketing support with live game and event execution. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, creative, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about professional sports, entertainment, content, and fan engagement. This role will work closely with the CV Lakers marketing team and other internal and external partners to help deliver a consistent, engaging, and on-brand fan experience across digital channels, promotional initiatives, and game days.
This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00 - $24.00.

The Coachella Valley Lakers will be managed by OVG in a similar fashion to the Coachella Valley Firebirds. The team will play a vital role in connecting with local fans, supporting regional development, and enhancing the overall sports scene in the desert. Fueled by Coachella Valley's energy, talent, and love for sports, the Coachella Valley Lakers are perfectly positioned to amplify the next chapter of professional sports and the continued pursuit of entertainment in the region.
Responsibilities
Content & Social Media
  • Assist with development and execution of social media content for game days, team initiatives and marketing campaigns
  • Capture behind-the-scenes, fan, player and in-game content for social channels
  • Assist with gathering photo and video assets during games, practices, community events and team activities
  • Help organize and maintain content libraries and digital assets
  • Support short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, X and other platforms
  • Monitor social media during games and identify opportunities for real-time content
  • Assist with post-game content collection, organization and distribution

In-Game Presentation & Entertainment
  • Assist with execution of Coachella Valley Lakers in-game entertainment and presentation
  • Support game-day run-of-show preparation, rehearsals and execution
  • Assist with coordinating entertainment elements, contests, promotions, music, videos and fan-engagement activities
  • Help prepare scripts, cue sheets, graphics, promotional materials and other game-presentation assets
  • Assist with in-game sponsor activations and promotional elements
  • Support coordination with production teams, performers, partners and internal departments
  • Help ensure game-day entertainment elements are executed accurately, on schedule and in alignment with the CV Lakers brand

Programming & Promotions
  • Assist with planning and execution of theme nights, special events, community initiatives and promotional programs
  • Support development of creative concepts designed to strengthen fan engagement and the overall CV Lakers game-day
    experience
  • Assist with sponsor and partner activations as assigned
  • Research sports, entertainment, social media and fan-engagement trends that may enhance team programming

Game-Day Responsibilities
  • Arrive as scheduled for game-day preparation, rehearsals and setup
  • Support in-game cues and entertainment execution
  • Capture live content for social media and other marketing needs
  • Support halftime, timeout and other in-game entertainment
  • Assist with fan engagement, promotions and sponsor activations
  • Help with post-game content collection, breakdown and follow-up
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, Entertainment, Media Production, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
  • Previous sports, entertainment, event or social media experience is a plus
  • Strong interest in professional sports, entertainment, marketing, content and social media
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, adapt quickly and remain composed during live events
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to take initiative
  • Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, X and other social platforms
  • Basic photography, videography, graphic design or video-editing skills are a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Schedule will vary based on the team's games, event and marketing calendar, and may include weekday office hours, evenings, weekends, holidays, home game days and special events
