Now Hiring: Drayage Dispatcher (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Location: Gardena, CA

Full-Time Position

Zurich Transport LLC is seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Drayage Dispatcher to join our growing operations team. This is a fast-paced position supporting daily port operations throughout the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.

Requirements:

* Minimum 1 year of drayage dispatching experience

* Bilingual (English & Spanish) required

* Knowledge of Port of Los Angeles / Long Beach operations

* Experience working with steamship lines, terminals, rail yards, and warehouses

* Strong communication and customer service skills

* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

* Experience with Compcare TMS systems, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and dispatch software

* Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

* Ability to manage driver schedules, appointments, and container tracking

Responsibilities:

* Dispatch and monitor company drivers and owner operators

* Coordinate container pickups and deliveries from ports, rail yards, and customer facilities

* Schedule warehouse, transload, and delivery appointments

* Track shipments and provide status updates to customers

* Communicate with drivers regarding route changes, delays, and operational issues

* Monitor demurrage, detention, per diem, and terminal free time

* Ensure timely and accurate completion of dispatch paperwork and system updates

* Work closely with customers, warehouses, and operations teams to ensure exceptional service
