Job description

As a Solutions Architect/Tech Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a large system that includes hybrid cloud and on-premises Kubernetes clusters. Your main focus will be on modernizing the existing system, identifying areas for improvement, and optimizing costs to align with mission objectives and budget constraints.  Manage the system architecture, implementing DevSecOps practices, and ensuring efficient container.  Leverage technologies to enhance the system's performance and reliability. By utilizing your expertise in these areas, you will play a key role in driving the success of the organization's IT initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the modernization efforts of the deployed system
  • Determine enhancements needed for the system
  • Optimize costs to meet mission and budget needs
  • Manage hybrid cloud and on-premises Kubernetes clusters
  • Implement system architecture best practices
  • Implement DevSecOps practices
  • Manage containerization using Docker/Podman
  • Utilize Ansible and Terraform for automation tasks
  • Oversee Dell and HP server management
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth operations of the system

Must have:

  • Experience in Kubernetes, AWS Cloud, Cisco Networking, Red Hat Linux, Containers (Docker/Podman), Helm, Dell Server Management, HP Server Management, System Architecture, DevSecOps, Container Management, Ansible, or Terraform
  • Familiarity with Dell and HP server management 

Security Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
